Zomato Green fleet to be hated or people are Dumb?
The Zomato Green Fleet was such a great initiative, but the internet went all rogue, stating that Zomato is creating a line and doing differentiation, basically dividing people on some social thing. Like seriously, are people dumb? I mean, it’s just the way people are, either veg or non-veg. How can just creating a great initiative so that people who don’t want their food mixed become a topic of hate for the company? It just feels like people are jealous and want to spread unnecessary hate.
If you think Zomato is dividing people, then don’t order from it, hate it all you want, but such initiatives build trust for people and show that companies are willing to create change. But the internet just converted it into a whole new hate narrative.
The company’s objective was clear: it wants people who are pure veg to have trust in the company when they see that their food traveled in a pure veg container. That’s it, that is all they aimed for, but these netizens are like peak over thinkers who create unnecessary narratives to have some topic of debate.
Since now you are a hater for the green fleet initiative, you won’t even know whether your food is truly safe to eat?! Go ahead, hate all you want, it just makes people think, are people so dumb? I mean, I am still not able to comprehend how segregating food can become a topic of social differentiation. It’s just dumb. So dumb.
