Are fictional books really worth the read?
A recent conversion among us friends led to questioning the relevance of fictional books, here are some opinions on the same.
I believe fictional books are extremely important. They are a form of escape from the awful reality of the state in which the world of today is. Fiction is what brings magic and playfulness into a life, that at times can feel very, gray. It helps young kids build a sense of imagination that turns into the genesis of innovation from them in the future. Reading does not always have to be for education, it can be an act of enjoyment too.

Alright, so fictional books are like those flashy pals who pull you away from real life with their crazy tales. They might give you a break from the boring stuff, but let’s face it, they don’t really make you smarter. It’s like binge-watching a fantasy show instead of doing your chores. Also another thing that make me crazy is how it wastes your time? I mean go and finish of your some work instead of crying over how “books are my best friends”, no they are not get over your trauma, read something that makes sense and complete your important work! or else go read no – fiction and learn something actually beneficial.
And damn, do they play with your feelings! One moment you’re giggling, the next you’re bawling because some made-up character kicks the bucket. It’s like a ride at an amusement park, but with emotions.
