Should Social Media be a Privilege?
Posh people here think that they get the right to determine what people get to post on the internet, they believe that “Cringe” content according to them should not be posted as it puts their country and community in a bad light. It is just none of their business to tell who gets the right to post content that is “up to the mark”. The same people are all for liberty until it comes to being judges by strangers from foreign land on the basis of their nationality.

Social media should be considered a privilege. There are people on social media who post absolutely terrible content solely for the sake of views, creating an image of the nation that screams ‘uneducated people’. Since India is already a third-world country, it is rather depressing to be judged by foreigners due to these so-called social media “influencers”. Not only do these influencers lower the overall standard of the nation, but their poorly supervised content also influences the youth towards engaging in cringe-worthy activities because all they see is views equal money.
